Chapter 8 : Strange sightings...

"Yup" Flare said. "Well, Anyway, We have to find Speckle soon!" Wings added. "Yes, Yes, Yes, we do. But, we need a plan..." Flare added. " Ah-ha! I have a plan!" Wings said. "What is it?" Whispered Flare. "We break-in. It's the only way. It is a terrible thing to do, But they did a terrible thing to us" Wings whispered back. "Oka-a-a-a-ay.....Let's go" Flare said. Wings and Flare hurried across the river and far to the west. They finally reached the Evil Neighbors' house. "I don't think their neighbors anymore...I mean they live so far away..." Wings said. "Shhhh!" Flare said quietly. Wings heard the sound of soft whispering, Wings listened hard, it sounded like : "We will take them down north, and that will be their FINAL spot. we have already starved them, now we shall KILL them" Wings heard, It sounded like an old lady, cruel. But she was much bigger than a Bird...Wings poked her eye in, A cat! "Flare a cat captured Speckle!" Wings whispered. "Yes I know, I heard what you heard now please be quiet so we can hear more, I'm sorry if this sounds harsh" Flare whispered solemnly. By now, the cat had poked her head out the window, Wings and Flare ducked -- For their lives!

Chapter 7 : Strange Sightings...

After Hunting, After every bird had gone to sleep, Wings was wide awake. We have to find Speckle! Wings thought, The only sound she could hear was the distant sound of Crickets.
 I know what I have to do, Suddenly, something interrupted Wings' thoughts, It sounded like a Bird......"Hello? Wings?" Then, The bird came to clear sight. It was Flare.
 "Flare! You scared me!" Wings said, Whispering a little to loudly. "Shhhh! It's the dead of night! Everyone would be sleeping....." Flares voice trailed off.
 "What do you mean would be?" Asked Wings. "Well, I've heard that another pod has set up their Home across the rover Over there," Flare pointed to the distant side of the River, "There apparently dangerous when Night falls...." Flare said. Wings eyes widened "Dangerous?"
"Yes, Last night, When you were out Hunting, Eclipse told me something very Intresting....." Flare said, " Eclipse said 'I think that those new Neighbors took Speckle...' Of course I didin't belive it, Intil I went over there and spyed, Thats why you are with me now. Anyway, I saw A bird in there thats looked like Speckle.....The same Cream splotches, Even the same way...........That she shouts for Help........" Flares Voice trailed off.
 "A-a-a-a-are you saying--" Wings for cut off, "Yes, And guess what, They have moved Tonight to a deeper more dangerous part of the rain forest. The parts with Tigers." Said Flare Whispering very intensely.
 At that Wings shivered. "I can face the deep parts of this Rain Forest...." Said Wings, Half truthfully.
"Wings, I cant even do it, I don't think that you can...That is Alone." Flares voice went dark, As if she had lost it. "Will you come Flare?" Asked Wings. "Sure..." Flare said, Scarcely. " We need a plan, though..." Wings said in a low tone-of-voice. "Well, We were sure Wrong about the Cat taking Speckle......" Wings' voice trailed off.....

Chapter 6 : Strange sightings....

"I'm not Living-" Shira got cut off, "Shhh....I hear something..." Said flare. "What does it sound like?" Whisperd Wings. "It sounds like......" Flares voice trailed off. Wings heard A distant meow.....Sounds like a cat..... Wings thought..."it's a meow!" Whisperd Flare. " I heard it, too!" Said Wings, Faolan, Aqua-feather, Pepper, And eclipse all at the same time. "What are we going to do??? Are we trapped here??? AHHHHHHHHH!!!" Said Faolan, Getting all weird. "Would leaving help?" Asked Aqua-feather. "Nope, It's a waste of time and energy, Plus, That cat could just follow us" Said shira, Very sassy again. Suddenly, There was  a rustle in the bushes......Wings jumped when she heard it. "Shhh.....Is it the cat..?" Asked Flare, "I'm afraid so......" Eclipse's voice trailed off. The rustle just kept getting closer, Intil they heard a sharp hiss. Followed by A Meow......."It must be the cat....." Said Wings. "Ahem....Has anyone forgot about the mocking birds? This may just mean that a Mocking bird heard the cat nearby and Started immatating it" Said Eclipse inn an orderly fashion. "Maybe Eclipse is right.....But, If they heard the cat, Then that means it's near by, And that means that were still in danger..." Pepper piped up. "We just need Speckle back." Wings said shortly. "Wait! Eclipse got it wrong I think.....Because.....Mocking birds hang out in trees and stuff, Besides this is a rainforest" Said Flare. "True true........Very true......." Said Aqua-feather, A bit weirdly. Shira pointed the the sun almost half way down, "We can find Speckle tomorrow, We need prey, And we also need sleep, To find Speckle. So for now, I'm going to sleep". "Whos going hunting? I mean for worms......" Said Pepper. "I will!" Said Wings, She always loved going hunting, But she liked it with Speckle......

Chapter 5 : Strange Sightings.....

"CA-A-A-A-A-AT!!!!!!!!!!!!" Shouted Speckle. At that exact moment, All the birds flew up and...well...trying to go away. But, The cat had jumped way to high, And had caught Speckle! "SPECKLE!" Shouted Wings. "I have an Idea, guys....." Flare said, As she chewed her last bit of mouse. "What is it!?!?" Said pepper. "Well, I think we could lour the cat away" Said Flare. "But with what?" Asked Wings, "And how?" Said Pepper. "Guys Guys! I have a plan, Just let me explain! We lour the cat away with a trail of mice...That way we don't get eaten..." Flares voice trailed off. "But I Like mice-" Faolan got cut off. "Yes I know you might, But don't you care about Speckle more...?. I don't mean to be mean at all" Said Aqua-Feather. "Yes...I guess I do....." Faolan sighed. "Wait! But Flare didin't come up with a plan to get Speckle back, She only found a way to get the cat away, Not get Speckle back" Said Wings, A little disapointed. "Well....Lets think of a plan....." Eclipse suddenly chimed in. Suddenly, Wings heard a rustle in the bushes, "What was that?" Said Wings, "Hopefully it wasn't the cat..." Said Eclipse, Wings could see the worry spread across her face. "Think of the good side, It could be speckle..." Pepper chimed in. then the bird came out, It looked nothing like Speckle, She was dark brown, tan, white and black. "Hi...Im Shira" The bird said sassy. "Uh umm..." Said Aqua feather, Weirded out. "Have you seen a bird with Dark brown splotches, And cream-ish feathers?" Asked Wings. "O-M-G! I have never heard such a weird bird before" Shira said, Again very sassy. "Umm...Well...We need help finding this bird" Wings pointed to one of Speckles many feathers that she had lost. "Umm..I guess I could help...But...Umm....First, Your going to have to do something about this ugly brown floor" Said Shira, motioning to the rich earth. "Uhhh...Welcome to the rain forest...????" Said Wings, Very confused.

Chapter 4 : Strange Sightings.....

To let them in the tiny pod, For Wings did get lonely with only Speckle around. I guess 6 other birds would be okay... Wings thought. "Hey! Look!" Shouted Speckle, So loud that all of the birds thought their ears would explode."Oops, Sorry...I guess....I was a little to loud..." Speckle said much quieter. "Yes" Shouted Wings, Aqua-feather, Flare, Faolan, Pepper, And Eclipse all at the same time."Anyway I was saying.....Why I shouted so loud was because...." Speckles voice trailed off. "Because..?" Said Flare. "Because I saw A....."Said Speckle "A what?" Said Wings, anxiously.........

Chapter 3 : Strange Sightings.....

"Nothing..." Wings said Frantically, "Are you sure?" asked Speckle curiously, "Positive" said Wings, Half annoyed. "Okay...." Said Speckle. Just then.....Wings heard a noise.....It sounded as though Birds were attacking! "Quick! Speckle, Follow Me!!!" Shouted Wings over the loud noise. "Co-o-o-omingg-g-g-g....".
Whats going on!?!?! Wings thought. Nothing had Happened for a long period of time....Just as they were giving up.....They saw 5 birds swoop out of the bushes.....Is that a FALCON!?!?!?!?! Wings was probable just hallucinating.....But then she realized she wasant, Speckle saw it too! So they decided to ask there names...."My name is Bolt-flare, But you can call me Flare" Said the falcon."...My name is Eclipse" Said the Owl. "My Name Is Faolan" Said one of the smaller birds. "My name is Aqua Feather....." Said another bird. "And.....Im Pepper." Said the last of the group of birds. Wings agreed......

Chapter 2 : Strange Sightings.....

Bright yellow eyes staring down at her,For a nano second all Wings could do was panic,Then out of nowhere,A small Humming bird came up from under a bush.The small bird ducked under a branch that was big enough to hide her,She motioned for Wings to follow her lead,By hiding.So quickly Wings ducked under a branch,Big enough to hide her.The giant figure,Looked like it had a bird outline,But was to big to be a bird...A bird could never be that big! Wings thought,Boredly.Just as Wings thought it wasan't safe,A deer came cantering out of the woods,The big vulture swooped past Wings,And went for the deer."Hi" Said Wings."Hello! My name is Speckle! How are you today?!?"Said the bird,"Im doing fine thanks speckles"Wings said,with a ping of sadness."What happend?!?"Asked the so called Speckle,"Nn-n-n-nothing....."Said Wings,With another Prickle of fear going up her spine."No,You can tell me! only if you want though...."Speckle said,With a kind smile."Well....It was......"Wings's voice trailed off.......

Chapter 1 : Strange Sightings...

Wings flew from branch to branch, As she sniffed the cold-air of the Forest, As she made her way to the one tree, That worms were always under.Wings swooped down fiercley watching for worms.Suddenly,There was a sharp screach.That made Wings jump, And lose a feather! Wings looked down,Only to see a blinding light...The light blinded Wings...And her Predator....Then, Wings caught s glimpse of the predator.....It had black paws,A white muzzle,And orange ish fur,And a bushy tail..............Wings thought for a moment.It must be a fox! Wings thought.....Just that second,Wings saw it coming Back! Uh-oh! thought Wings, Panicing.Wings quickly forgot about her prey,And started flying up.About 45 minutes later,Wings got home.Her house was old,And run down.It was passed down threw genorations.Wings was a bit young to be living alone,With out her mom,But she didin't take no for an answer.Just as Wings had went into her house,She heard a loud Screach again.Just as she looked up, She saw............
